Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee all security operations including access control, surveillance systems, patrols, and incident response protocols to ensure comprehensive protection of organizational assets and personnel

Design, establish, and maintain security procedures and policies aligned with company standards and local regulatory requirements in Baghdad, Iraq

Perform regular and thorough risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend proactive solutions

Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, emergencies, and crises; document all occurrences with accuracy and transparency

Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise security personnel to ensure consistent performance standards, accountability, and professional growth

Monitor adherence to health, safety, and security regulations; maintain documentation and prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies

Work closely with operations, human resources, and facility management teams to integrate security seamlessly into daily organizational activities

Oversee budget allocation, vendor management, and procurement of security equipment and services to optimize operational efficiency

Conduct thorough investigations into security breaches, thefts, or policy violations with objectivity and discretion

Develop and execute emergency response plans, conduct regular drills, and ensure all personnel understand evacuation and crisis procedures

Ensure proper maintenance, updates, and optimization of security technology and systems

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven security management experience in corporate or organizational environments
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage and develop diverse security teams
  • Calm, composed demeanor with the ability to make decisive decisions under pressure
  • Comprehensive knowledge of security systems, access control, surveillance technology, and emergency procedures
  • Expertise in risk assessment, threat analysis, and security compliance
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across all organizational levels
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Hands-on operational approach with active field presence and engagement
  • Experience in incident investigation, documentation, and reporting
  • Proficiency with security management software and reporting tools
  • Knowledge of local security regulations and requirements in Baghdad, Iraq

  • Experience in pre-opening or project setup phases
  • Background in crisis management and emergency response coordination
