As the Hotel Security Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the security operations within the hotel to ensure the safety and protection of guests, staff, and property. Your role involves implementing security measures, managing security personnel, and responding to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Security Planning and Implementation:
• Develop and implement security plans, policies, and procedures to safeguard the hotel premises, assets, and individuals.
• Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend security enhancements.
• Security Personnel Management:
• Recruit, train, and supervise security officers, guards, and personnel to ensure a high level of professionalism and competence.
• Schedule shifts, assign duties, and provide ongoing training to security staff members.
• Surveillance and Monitoring:
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarms.
• Monitor surveillance footage, investigate security incidents, and take appropriate actions to address breaches or threats.
• Emergency Response and Crisis Management:
• Develop and communicate emergency response protocols for various scenarios, such as fire outbreaks, medical emergencies, or security incidents.
• Coordinate with local authorities, emergency services, and hotel management during crisis situations.
• Security Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to security and safety.
• Conduct regular security audits, reviews, and training sessions to maintain a high level of security preparedness.
• Incident Reporting and Documentation:
• Document security incidents, investigations, and corrective actions taken in detailed reports.
• Maintain accurate records for legal, compliance, and internal review purposes.
• To ensure that the use new technology and equipment is explored and implemented wherever appropriate
• Implement and promote sustainable practices in daily tasks, focusing on reducing waste, saving energy, and using resources efficiently.
