Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct SAST and DAST assessments using tools such as Burp Suite, Semgrep, OWASP ZAP

  • Integrate security testing into CI/CD pipelines for automated and continuous validation

  • Analyze application source code and runtime behavior to identify vulnerabilities

  • Document findings, prioritize risks, and support remediation efforts with development teams

  • Stay current with emerging threats and update testing strategies accordingly

  • Use Burp Suite for web application penetration testing, proxy analysis, and scanning

  • Apply Semgrep and Fortify for static code analysis (SAST)

  • Utilize OWASP ZAP, WebInspect, and Nuclei for runtime vulnerability detection (DAST)

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Must-Have:

    • Hands-on experience with SAST/DAST methodologies

    • Proficiency in Burp Suite, Semgrep, OWASP ZAP

    • Experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines

    • Strong understanding of application security, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.

    Good-to-Have:

    • Familiarity with Fortify, WebInspect, Nuclei

    • Knowledge of secure coding practices and remediation workflows

    • Exposure to DevSecOps environments and automation frameworks
