Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a comprehensive plan for all security surveillance systems.
Determine security systems plan for the institution and technical needs.
Identify and assess technical requirements and propose system upgrades or expansions.
Establish Develop operation and maintenance policies and procedures for monitoring
and control systems.
Prepare and manage the facilities & security systems budget in coordination with
relevant departments.
Oversee the installation, configuration and integration of camera systems, alarms,
security gates, and access control systems.
Ensure the system connectivity and storage/recording systems according to standards.
Develop and oversee a preventive maintenance schedule and security software updates.
Monitor the performance of facilities & security systems, promptly address any
technical failures, vulnerabilities, and intervene to mitigate them.
Ensure system functionality and operational efficiently.
Coordinate with internal security teams and respond to security incidents
Prepare periodic technical reports on system status and technical suggestions for
performance improvement.
Maintain accurate documentation of installations, modifications, and maintenance
activities.
Train technical support and security teams on system usage and monitor their
performance.
Liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure maintenance and warranty
are delivered effectively.
Undertake any additional duties assigned by line manager.
Educational Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Electronics, Communications, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field Experience Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managing and maintaining security systems. Technical Skills /
Strong technical knowledge of CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
Proficiency in project management and technical report writing.
Preferred to be familiar with international safety standards and security systems (e.g., ISO 27001, among others).
