Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and engineer comprehensive security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection, tailored to unique client needs.
  • Conduct thorough site assessments to identify vulnerabilities and determine optimal security solutions, ensuring a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
  • Develop detailed system designs, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications, with a focus on technical accuracy and clarity.
  • Collaborate with project managers, installers, and clients to ensure seamless system implementation, maintaining clear communication throughout the process.
  • Stay abreast of the latest security technologies and industry best practices, continuously improving system designs and staying ahead of emerging threats.
  • Prepare comprehensive proposals and cost estimates for security system projects, demonstrating a strong understanding of project budgets and timelines.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for installed security systems, ensuring optimal system performance and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations, prioritizing safety and legal compliance.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of all system designs, installations, and configurations, maintaining accurate records for future reference.
  • Lead or participate in system testing and commissioning activities, ensuring systems function as intended and meet performance requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Holds relevant certifications such as Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) or similar, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, providing a strong technical foundation.
  • Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in security system design and implementation, showcasing a proven track record of success.
  • Demonstrates expertise in designing systems for diverse industries such as commercial, healthcare, and government sectors, showcasing adaptability.
  • Exhibits proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software, enabling the creation of detailed and accurate system schematics.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Has a proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving, ensuring the successful design and implementation of security solutions.
  • Displays a strong understanding of networking principles and IT infrastructure, essential for integrating security systems.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to continuous learning and staying current with evolving security technologies and threats.
