Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the enterprise integration architecture for Asyad Ports, covering IT and OT systems.
  • Lead end-to-end integration of core port systems, including:
  • Terminal Operating System (Navis N4 or equivalent)
  • SAP / ERP systems
  • Customer Portal, Online Gate Pass, Payment Gateways
  • Data Lake, BI, and Analytics platforms
  • Govern integration standards, interface design, and data exchange models across all terminals.

Smart Port & Automation Integration

  • Lead integration of smart port technologies, including:
  • IoT sensors and platforms
  • OCR systems (gate, yard, quay)
  • PLCs, SCADA, and crane automation systems
  • GPS, RFID, AIS, and equipment telematics
  • Ensure reliable real-time and near-real-time data exchange between operational equipment and enterprise systems.
  • Support process automation initiatives by enabling system-driven workflows across port operations, finance, and customer services.

Middleware & Platforms

  • Design and manage integrations using enterprise integration platforms (ESB, iPaaS, API Management).
  • Define API strategies, message orchestration, and event-driven architectures.
  • Ensure scalability, fault tolerance, and performance of all integrations.

Data & Database Management

  • Oversee database integration, data synchronization, and performance optimization.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and availability across systems.
  • Support data governance and integration with enterprise data platforms.

Governance, Security & Compliance

  • Ensure integrations comply with cybersecurity, data governance, and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Support IT/OT security controls and segregation while enabling operational efficiency.
  • Review vendor designs and ensure alignment with Asyad s long-term digital roadmap.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Act as the technical authority for integration topics across projects.
  • Work closely with operations, IT, automation teams, and external vendors.
  • Review and approve integration deliverables, test plans, and go-live readiness.
  • Drive knowledge transfer to internal teams and reduce vendor dependency.
