Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop standout 2D/3D design concepts for exhibitions, events, environments, and brand activations
Produce high-quality 3D designs, renderings, and visualizations that bring ideas to life
Collaborate closely with strategy, client servicing, design, and project management teams to translate briefs into compelling creative solutions
Transform client concepts into visually engaging and technically feasible 3D designs
Ensure all designs meet technical, material, construction, and installation requirements, working closely with production and fabrication teams
Create polished visuals, sketches, renders, and presentation decks to support internal reviews and client meetings
Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and emerging technology in 3D visualisation
Work within project timelines, ensuring high-quality deliverables across multiple simultaneous projects
Guide junior designers and contribute to the overall strength of the creative department
Support the team during client presentations with compelling and accurate design representations
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma/Degree in 3D Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in 3D design, ideally within events, exhibitions, retail, or experiential spaces
Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, spatial design skills, and polished 3D visualisation
Proficiency in 3ds Max, SketchUp, Blender, V-Ray, Cinema 4D, or similar 3D modelling/rendering tools
Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Knowledge of AutoCAD or other drafting software is an advantage
Excellent artistic and creative abilities with strong attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly
Experience designing exhibitions using Maxima and Ortanorm systems (added advantage)
A portfolio showcasing previous 3D design work is required
