Roles & Responsibilities
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an individual who can balance working as part of our agency while seconded to a client on a full-time basis.Someone who has a firm grasp of corporate communications, media relations and understands thought leadership to help build the reputation for a leading UAE university.We are looking for someone who can think creatively and communicate effectively with senior decision makers across the university s faculties.And we need someone who is highly organised and able to help build the infrastructure and processes for a new communications team at the university. AccountabilitiesLiaising with the regional media (in Arabic and English) both traditional and digital to secure earned-first brand awareness for the university and its programmesDraft and distribute press releases (in Arabic and English), media alerts, and pitches to secure positive media coverageWrite and edit a variety of content, including press releases, articles, speeches, Q&A documents, newsletters, social media posts, and briefing materials, ensuring all content aligns with the university s messaging and tone of voiceSupporting on the management of marketing campaigns and producing a cadence of written content and collaborating with design and productionExecuting on the communications plans to support event and exhibition managementResearching and reporting on industry issues, trends and opportunities respective to further education in the regionProject management and tracking of deliverables Includes managing timelines and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within scopeManagement of the account reporting process, including measurement and evaluationDetails of SecondmentReporting to an Account Director, also embedded full-time with the university and the university s own Director of CommunicationsThis is a fixed-term contract for 14 monthsThe position requires full-time on-site presence at the university s administrative headquarters in Dubai, in accordance with the university s official working hours and holiday schedule rather than those of the agencyThe role requires travel within the UAE to the university s other campuses as needed
