Role Summary

The Senior Account Manager (SAM) serves as the strategic bridge between the agency s creative engine and our diverse client portfolio. This is a high-impact role requiring a balance of meticulous project management, relationship building, and business development.

The SAM is responsible for the health, growth, and output of approximately four non-competing accounts. You will be the primary advocate for the client s vision within the agency and the primary representative of the agency s creative strategy to the client.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Account Leadership: Act as the main liaison between the agency and the client, ensuring all project goals are aligned and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Workflow Coordination: Monitor the real-time status of all client jobs within the creative department to ensure timely delivery and quality control.
  • Strategic Growth: Drive business volume by identifying upsell opportunities within existing accounts and securing new business to achieve defined quarterly and annual targets.
  • Client Communication: Maintain daily contact with clients to discuss active projects, upcoming campaigns, and long-term brand strategy.
  • Presentation & Approval: Lead the presentation of copy, layouts, and creative concepts to clients; skillfully manage feedback and translate it into actionable directives for the creative team.
  • Financial Oversight: Oversee client advertising budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and profitable project management.
