Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned accounting professional to take charge of our full-cycle accounting

function for a Dubai-based company. The role requires strong experience in bookkeeping,

financial reporting, VAT compliance, and direct dealings with UAE banks. The candidate must

have 10–15 years of hands-on accounting experience in Dubai and be capable of independently

managing all finance-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts, general ledger, and journal entries in

line with UAE accounting standards.

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including payables, receivables, petty cash, and

reconciliations.

• Prepare and submit VAT filings and ensure full compliance with UAE tax regulations.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

• Manage banking operations including account openings, online banking, transfers, LC

issuance, bank reconciliations, and relationship management.

• Liaise with banks for facilities, KYC/renewals, and ensure compliance with all

documentation requirements.

• Handle external audits, coordinate with auditors, and ensure timely completion of financial

reviews.

• Maintain organized financial records, invoices, and supporting documents.

• Support management with cash flow projections, budgeting, and financial analysis.


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or CA inter

preferred).

• 10–15 years of accounting experience in Dubai, with a strong understanding of UAE

regulations, VAT, and banking procedures.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Tally, or ERP

platforms).

• Prior experience in handling bank accounts, preparing bank documentation, and managing

relationships with bank relationship managers.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
