Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the full accounting cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UAE VAT regulations and IFRS standards.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, providing insightful variance analysis.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
  • Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate and up-to-date recording of all financial transactions.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory filings, maintaining meticulous records for audits.
  • Proactively identify and resolve accounting discrepancies, ensuring data integrity.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly preferred.
  • Exhibits advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Displays a strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Possesses a thorough knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations.
