Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
About The Role:
Maintain full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts
receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with HKFRS and
internal reporting timelines.
Assist in preparation of financial statements, various management reports for senior
management.
Handle Hong Kong profits tax computations and assist with preparation and filing of tax
returns with the Inland Revenue Department (IRD), in coordination with tax advisors where
required.
Ensure timely and accurate recording of revenue, expenses, accruals, and provisions on
an accrual basis of accounting.
Support annual statutory audit, including preparation of audit schedules and liaison with
external auditors.
Ensure compliance with Hong Kong company, accounting, and tax regulations and
internal control procedures.
Assist with payroll-related accounting entries and employee reimbursement processing
as applicable.
Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, and documentation of
accounting procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in commerce (BCom) or equivalent, with a focus on accounting/finance
Experience Requirements: Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience in Hong Kong, preferably in corporate or Trading SME environments.
