Job Title: Senior Accountant / Finance Manager Location: Dubai, UAE Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Bullion Trading About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our company. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounting, financial management, banking coordination, and compliance within the UAE. This role requires excellent analytical skills, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Financial Accounting & Reporting • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS. • Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and oversee all bookkeeping functions. • Monitor accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and aging reports. • Manage fixed assets register and depreciation schedules. Cash Flow & Treasury Management • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow statements. • Monitor bank positions, fund transfers, and FX requirements. • Liaise with banks for facilities, documentation, KYC/AML requests, and relationship management. • Oversee payroll processing and WPS requirements. • Maintain and report daily financial position with respect to cash, bank and gold stocks across all group companies Budgeting & Forecasting • Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts. • Analyze variances between actuals vs. budget and report findings to management. • Provide insights and recommendations for cost control and financial optimization. Compliance, Audit & Tax • Coordinate with external auditors for annual financial audits. • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws, timely VAT filings, and record keeping. • Manage corporate tax filings of all group companies and also liaise with consultants and be updated with all new regulations/laws. • Implement and maintain internal controls, policies, and financial procedures. • Ensure adherence to corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
