Senior Accountant DESERT MAN TRANSPORTING & CONTRACTING - SOLE PROPRIETORSHIP L.L.C.

The Senior Accountant will manage end-to-end accounting operations across multiple business divisions, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance with UAE regulations, project cost control, and timely financial reporting. The role requires strong experience in project accounting, equipment cost tracking, and multi-entity financial management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate accounting records.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis.

• Ensure timely closing of accounts.

2. Construction & Project Accounting

• Monitor project costs and budget utilization.

• Track revenue recognition for construction projects.

• Review project expenses, subcontractor payments, and cost allocations.

• Support project teams with financial performance analysis.

3. PMV & Transportation Accounting

• Monitor equipment operational costs and utilization expenses.

• Track fuel, maintenance, depreciation, and leasing income.

• Manage asset accounting for machinery and vehicles.

4. Asphalt Factory Accounting

• Control production cost accounting.

• Monitor raw material consumption and inventory valuation.

• Analyze production cost vs output performance.

5. Leasing Division Accounting

• Manage lease income accounting and invoicing cycles.

• Track equipment rental revenues and receivables.

• Support contract-based billing and collections.

6. Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations.

• Prepare audit schedules and support external auditors.

• Maintain internal financial controls and governance compliance.

7. Payables & Receivables Oversight

• Review supplier payments and subcontractor certifications.

• Monitor receivables aging and cash flow position.

• Coordinate with procurement, HR, and operations departments.
