Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant will oversee financial records, support audit activities, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong hands-on accounting experience and the ability to manage daily financial operations accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle monthly closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow
- Prepare accurate financial statements and periodic financial reports
- Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes
- Liaise with tax authorities and ensure compliance with Egyptian tax regulations
- Maintain proper financial documentation and internal controls
Desired Candidate Profile
- 3 5 years of accounting experience
- Previous experience in an export company is highly preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems
- Solid understanding of Egyptian accounting standards and tax regulations
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
