Senior Accountant

We are a leading construction company seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant Cost Control Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in managing financial operations, overseeing cost control processes, and providing accurate financial insights to support project success and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

Develop, monitor, and update project budgets, forecasts, and periodic financial reports.

Track project expenditures, analyze cost variances, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.

Ensure full compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal company policies.

Conduct bank reconciliations and manage cash flow to support ongoing project needs.

Analyze financial performance, identify discrepancies, and provide strategic insights to management.

Prepare accurate and timely cost control and financial reports, and support internal and external audits.

Collaborate closely with project managers to review financial aspects of ongoing projects and ensure alignment with budgets.

Assist in the development and implementation of accounting procedures and cost control systems to improve efficiency and transparency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 6 years of accounting experience, preferably within the construction industry.

In-depth knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting principles.

Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
