Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
Oversee supplier and customer reconciliations, payment follow-ups, invoicing, and credit control.
Ensure proper recording of purchases, sales, inventory movements, landed costs, operational expenses, and intercompany transactions.
Monitor cash flow, expenses, margins, and financial controls to support operational efficiency.
Coordinate closely with Sales, Procurement, Logistics, and Management on finance-related matters.
Ensure compliance with VAT/tax requirements, statutory reporting, internal policies, and audit requirements.
Support external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and required documentation.
Review accounting processes and recommend improvements to strengthen internal controls.
Provide financial insights to Management to support business planning and decision-making.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification is an advantage.
Preferably Male.
Minimum 7 to 10 years of accounting experience, with strong exposure to trading, distribution, logistics, or operations-based companies.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, VAT/tax compliance, reconciliations, inventory accounting, and cost control.
Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems.
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
Ability to work independently, handle pressure, and meet strict deadlines.
Strong business understanding, high attention to detail, and good coordination skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
