Senior Accountant Tasa Gulf Industry LLC

About the Role

Tasa Gulf Industry LLC is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with strong expertise in UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and financial compliance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in both Odoo and Tally ERP systems and must be capable of handling accounting operations within a multi-company industrial environment.

Candidates with professional certifications such as CA, CPA, or CMA will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Core Accounting Operations

• Maintain complete books of accounts including GL, AP, and AR.

• Record and reconcile financial transactions accurately in Odoo and Tally ERP.

• Handle journal entries, accruals, provisions, and month-end adjustments.

• Support monthly and year-end closing activities.

UAE VAT Compliance

• Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with UAE FTA regulations.

• Ensure accurate VAT treatment for:

  • Domestic and international transactions

  • Imports and exports

  • Reverse charge mechanism

• Maintain VAT audit-ready documentation and records.

UAE Corporate Tax Compliance

• Support Corporate Tax calculations, reporting, and filing requirements.

• Assist with tax adjustments and compliance documentation.

• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants for assessments and filings.

• Ensure ERP systems align with UAE Corporate Tax requirements.

Financial Reporting & MIS

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Support management reporting and MIS dashboards.

• Assist with budgeting, reconciliations, and financial analysis.

Bank & Cash Management

• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.

• Support supplier payments and receivables tracking.

• Ensure proper financial controls and compliance processes.

Multi-Company Accounting

• Maintain records across multiple group entities.

• Support intercompany reconciliations and consolidated reporting.

• Ensure consistency and accuracy across financial systems.

ERP Systems – Odoo & Tally

• Work efficiently on both Odoo and Tally ERP platforms.

• Ensure accurate accounting entries, mapping, and reconciliations.

• Support migration or parallel accounting processes if required.

• Maintain system data integrity and reporting accuracy.

Audit & Compliance

• Support internal and external audits.

• Ensure compliance with:

  • UAE VAT Law

  • UAE Corporate Tax Law

  • IFRS-based accounting standards

• Maintain organized audit documentation and compliance records.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

• 3–5 years of UAE accounting experience

• Strong understanding of:

  • UAE VAT regulations

  • UAE Corporate Tax framework

  • IFRS accounting principles

• Hands-on experience in Odoo and Tally ERP systems

Preferred Certifications

• CA – Chartered Accountant

• CPA – Certified Public Accountant

• CMA – Certified Management Accountant
