Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Handle general ledger accounting, reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and closing activities.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

  • Prepare and review VAT returns and support tax compliance requirements.

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support audit requirements.

  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

  • Review bank reconciliations and intercompany transactions.

  • Support management with financial reports, MIS, and variance analysis.

  • Maintain proper documentation and internal controls.

  • Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

  • CA Final qualified without exemptions.

  • Minimum 3–4 years of post-qualification experience in accounting or finance.

  • Experience from home country or UAE/local market will be accepted.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.

  • UAE VAT knowledge will be an advantage.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
