Senior Accountant

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles or International Financial Reporting Standards.

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Perform account reconciliations, including bank and general ledger accounts.

Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with the preparation of tax filings.

Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

Review and process journal entries, ensuring proper classification and documentation.

Monitor and review accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support in their development.

Participate in budget preparation and financial forecasting activities.

Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information to senior management.

Experience in auditing or working with external auditors is a plus.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
