Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations: Oversee the document cycle, maintain the general ledger, and review receipt and payment vouchers.

Financial Reporting: Prepare income statements and balance sheets; manage period-end account closing.

Financial Control: Monitor revenues and expenses, analyse variances, and perform bank reconciliations.

Team Leadership: Manage and guide the accounting team; distribute tasks to ensure accuracy.

Compliance: Ensure adherence to GAAP/IFRS and local tax laws; establish internal controls.

Financial Planning: Contribute to budgeting and provide financial advisory to senior management

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or Accounts Manager

Software: SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks; advanced Excel skills

Languages: Arabic (required) Kurdish and English preferred

Skills: Attention to detail, leadership, analytical thinking, ability to work under pressure
