Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting for UAE and Iraq entities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Handle general ledger activities, reconciliations, and closing processes
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal policies
Tax & Compliance
- Oversee UAE VAT filings and compliance
- Coordinate with external consultants for Iraq tax and regulatory matters
- Support audits and ensure proper documentation
Receivables, Payables & Cash Flow
- Monitor invoicing, collections, and client aging
- Manage vendor payments and expense tracking
- Track and report cash flow across entities
Budgeting & Analysis
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Analyze variances and provide actionable insights
- Support management with financial reporting and decision-making
Project & Agency Accounting
- Manage project-based accounting (WIP, revenue recognition)
- Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate billing and cost allocation
- Analyze profitability by client and project
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5 8 years of relevant experience (agency or multi-entity preferred)
Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations
Experience with cross-border accounting and multi-currency environments
Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA) is an advantage
