Senior Accountant

Client of Hire Lebanese

Location: Kinshasa, DR Congo

Contract Type: Full-time - 3 Year renewable contract

Relocation: Visa, transport, and housing provided, one ticket per year.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and review daily/monthly journal entries and general ledger
2. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
3. Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and reports for management
4. Oversee payroll, local tax filings, and ensure compliance with DRC tax regulations
5. Liaise with external auditors and government authorities
6. Monitor budgets, control costs, and support financial planning

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience as an Senior Accountant
3. Fluency in French - written and spoken - mandatory for legal and official dealings
4. Proficiency in English or Arabic is an advantage
5. Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, or Odoo
6. Knowledge of OHADA accounting system and DRC tax law is a strong advantage
7. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to working conditions in Africa
