Senior Accountant

Hexcel Corporation

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

• Conducting monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities (3rd working day), and thorough analysis of complex accounting issues and preparing the bridge between US and local GAAP
• Tax filing: monthly and yearly declaration
• Reviews monthly intercompany netting process and preparing monthly Balance sheet accounts analysis
• Treasury control: to ensure site cash flow under control in accordance with forecast
• Supervise the daily accounting tasks & check/monitor work of co-workers
• Liaise closely with other departments to ensure consistency and alignment in accounting procedures
• Take a pro-active role in challenging existing practices and looking for improvements in efficiency
• Establish good accounting practice and maintain effective internal control procedures in accounting area
• Establish a robust reporting process with the accounting firm
• Support in setting up the AX system and Sage

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related function
• Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance
• Strong computer skills especially advanced in Microsoft Excel and experience with an enterprise accounting system (Sage and AX)
• Deep knowledge of US and Moroccan GAAP
• Great leadership skills
• Language: French- Fluent, English- Fluent
