Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and compliance documentation.
• Supervise and support junior accounting staff when required.
• Handle month-end and year-end processes in line with organizational needs.
• Ensure compliance with Iraqi financial regulations and tax obligations.
• Engage with auditors, clients, and external stakeholders as needed.
• Drive financial improvements and strengthen internal controls.

Requirements:

• At least bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (CPA or equivalent is a plus).
• At least 5 years of solid accounting experience (NGO or multi-sector experience is highly desirable).
• Deep knowledge of Iraqi unified accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems (QuickBooks, Zoho, Odoo, SAP, etc.).
• Strong communication skills in Arabic and English (Kurdish is an advantage).
• High integrity, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
