Roles & Responsibilities

Position Overview: This role involves assisting the Actuarial Manager in various tasks and responsibilities. It includes performing more intricate actuarial analyses concerning reserving, reporting, and analysis. He/she will be the link between the manager and the team.

Responsibilities:

Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science.
At least 4 years of working experience in a related role.
IFRS 17 knowledge and ResQ reserving tool is an asset.
Able to manage multiple stakeholders across the business and contacts locally or on Group Level.
A serious and professional attitude towards compliance of regulatory submissions with an eye for attention to detail to support accuracy.
Excellent team-working, communication and interpersonal skills are also required.
Able to manage and meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Experience with Microsoft office, VBA, and R or similar programs

Job Requirements
Qualifications and Skills required:

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in statistical software and programming languages (e.g., Excel, R, Python).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in Arabic and English.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality of work.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Prior internship or work experience in an actuarial or related role is preferred.
Pursuing or willingness to pursue actuarial credentials (e.g., ASA, ACAS) is a plus.
