Introduction
Due to continued business growth & expansion, Trip.com Group is hiring a Senior Airline Manager, based in either Riyadh or Jeddah. Reporting directly to the Airline Director. The Senior Airline Manager will act as the market leader for the Saudia Arabia (KSA) market, responsible for driving commercial strategy, leading airline partnerships, and shaping Trip.com 's position in one of the most dynamic and growing aviation markets globally. The role requires the ability to operate independently at a senior stakeholder level, ensuring effective execution and decision-making on the ground.
In this Role, you'll get to:
- Lead the Saudi Arabia market, taking ownership of airline commercial strategy, partnerships, and growth.
- A strategic role driving execution and ensuring KSA delivers on revenue, market share, and partnership goals.
- Operate independently with senior airline stakeholders, making commercial decisions and representing Trip.com in high-level negotiations and forums.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with airline partners across KSA, serving as the primary point of contact for commercial, operational, and promotional activities.
- Negotiate and deliver impactful commercial agreements, including incentives, joint campaigns, and long-term partnership structures.
- Analyse complex datasets to identify opportunities for revenue growth, share-shifting actions, and market differentiation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with airline executives, regulators, and industry stakeholders, representing Trip.com at key events in KSA.
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Revenue Management, and Operations teams to deliver joint airline initiatives.
- Provide competitive and regulatory insights on the KSA aviation sector, shaping internal strategy and decision-making.
- Actively support regional airline partnerships and ensure alignment with global airline strategies.
Travel requirement: ~30% across the country, primarily domestically but including internationally where needed.
What you'll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's degree or above, with 8+ years of senior commercial experience in Airlines, OTA, GDS, or related industries
- Previous experience in a similar role in Saudi Arabia would be an added advantage
- Strong aviation knowledge, understanding the complexities of the domestic and international airline landscape.
- Proven track record in commercial negotiations, P&L impact, and strategic account management.
- Strong data-driven mindset with expertise in BI tools and analytics.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with senior airline stakeholders.
- Experience working cross-functionally across airline product, Digital Marketing, and operations.
- Highly results-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Given the regional focus, proficiency in Arabic is essential
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree or above, with 8+ years of senior commercial experience in Airlines, OTA, GDS, or related industries
Previous experience in a similar role in Saudi Arabia would be an added advantage
