Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a passionate and talented Senior Android Engineer to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will contribute to our mission of enhancing human health and well-being, ensuring that we meet the highest standards of excellence in our industry.
Key Requirements:
- Lead the design and architecture of complex Android applications, driving adoption of best practices in coding standards, testing, and performance optimization.
- Develop high-quality, maintainable code in Kotlin and/or Java, taking ownership of the full development lifecycle from concept to deployment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Mentor and guide engineers, conducting code reviews, fostering technical growth, and ensuring adherence to architectural guidelines.
- Drive continuous improvement by resolving complex technical challenges, optimizing performance, and staying current with Android platform advancements and emerging technologies.
- Bachelor's or master s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent extensive 1 practical experience).
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in developing native Android applications.
- Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java programming languages.
- Deep understanding of the Android SDK, different Android versions, and best practices for handling platform fragmentation.
- Extensive experience with various Android architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP, MVI) and a strong understanding of their trade-offs.
