Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Design & Oversight: Lead the design development and execution of large-scale projects. Oversee architectural team members, mentor junior staff, and ensure the accurate implementation of design intent.
Compliance & Technical Review: Review architectural layouts for compliance with fire and life safety regulations and applicable building codes.
Documentation: Define required deliverables and oversee the production of Design Development (DD) and Construction Document (CD) packages.
Specifications: Utilize CSI MasterFormat classification to structure proper specifications and technical documentation.
Project Coordination: Coordinate with structural, MEP, civil, and specialty consultants to ensure integrated project delivery. Oversights spatial reviews and technical integration within BIM.
Quality Control: Execute internal QC reviews to maintain high accuracy and completeness of team deliverables.
Client Relations: Present design concepts and progress updates to clients, ensuring alignment with project objectives and budget constraints.
Construction Administration: Support and lead construction administration efforts, including RFIs, submittals, field observations, and site coordination.
Operations & Standards: Utilize Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) for project documentation. Support ISO 9001:2015 requirements and manage project files according to ISO naming conventions.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional architectural experience.
Expertise: Extensive background in large-scale developments and a deep understanding of architectural detailing and technical specifications.
BIM Environment: Strong experience working within a BIM-centric workflow.
Mastery of Codes: Deep knowledge of fire, life safety, and international building codes.
CSI MasterFormat: Proficiency in specification structuring.
Software: Advanced proficiency in architectural design software and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
