Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and leadership-driven Senior Architectural Engineer – Technical Team Lead to lead our technical department and oversee the execution of high-end architectural and interior design projects.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in technical architecture, project coordination, quality control, construction documentation, and team management. This role requires a strong leader capable of managing multiple projects, mentoring technical teams, and ensuring the highest standards of technical delivery and execution.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the entire technical and architectural team across multiple projects.
Oversee all technical project phases from design development to construction documentation and execution support.
Review, approve, and supervise all architectural drawings, shop drawings, detailing packages, and technical submissions.
Ensure high standards of technical quality control, accuracy, and consistency across all project deliverables.
Coordinate between architecture, interior design, structure, MEP, FF&E, and project management teams.
Manage project timelines, technical deliverables, workload planning, and internal coordination processes.
Ensure all drawings and technical outputs comply with local regulations, authority requirements, and industry standards.
Conduct internal technical reviews and quality assurance meetings regularly.
Provide advanced technical solutions and problem-solving throughout all project stages.
Mentor, train, and supervise technical staff, architects, and draftsmen to improve team performance and technical standards.
Lead constructability reviews and ensure proper coordination between design intent and site execution requirements.
Support site teams during execution by resolving technical and construction-related issues.
Develop and improve internal technical systems, workflows, standards, and documentation procedures.
Monitor department productivity, efficiency, and technical performance.
Participate in client meetings, consultant coordination meetings, and technical presentations when required.
Lead complex and high-value projects requiring advanced technical expertise and leadership capabilities.
Ensure proper management of revisions, documentation control, and technical approvals.
Collaborate with management to improve operational processes and project delivery efficiency.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
Minimum 18–23 years of professional experience in architecture and technical project management.
Strong expertise in technical drawings, detailing, shop drawings, and construction documentation.
Proven experience leading technical teams and managing large-scale architectural and interior projects.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, detailing standards, and technical coordination.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and quality control standards.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and related architectural software.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Previous experience in high-end residential, hospitality, commercial, and luxury projects.
Experience working within multidisciplinary design environments.
International or GCC project experience is considered a strong advantage.

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and industry-standard architectural software.
Experience working with international standards and multidisciplinary teams is a strong advantage.
GCC or international project exposure is preferred but not mandatory.
