Senior Associate Corporate Venture Capital (CVC)

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our investment team in Riyadh. This is a pivotal role supporting the end-to-end venture investment process from sourcing early-stage opportunities and conducting due diligence to completing the investment process.

The ideal candidate will have around five years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or strategy consulting, with a strong analytical background and genuine passion for startups and technology.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deal Sourcing & Ecosystem Engagement

• Identify promising early-stage startups (Pre-Seed to Series A) in fintech and adjacent sectors aligned with 1957 Ventures strategic themes.
• Map emerging trends, technologies, and market opportunities through research and ecosystem engagement.
• Build relationships with founders, accelerators, incubators, VCs, and innovation networks across MENA and globally.

2. Investment Analysis & Execution

• Evaluate business models, unit economics, and market dynamics of early-stage companies.
• Conduct financial analysis, valuations, and scenario modeling.
• Support due diligence across commercial, operational, and financial dimensions.
• Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for the Investment Committee.
• Assist in deal structuring, negotiation, and documentation.

3. Portfolio Support & Strategic Value Creation

• Monitor portfolio company performance through data, KPIs, and engagement with founders.
• Identify collaboration opportunities between portfolio startups and Riyad Bank s business units.
• Contribute to post-investment support and strategic initiatives.

4. Thought Leadership & Internal Strategy

• Track global venture capital and fintech trends to shape 1957 Ventures investment thesis.
• Contribute insights and reports to guide strategy and innovation within Riyad Bank.
• Represent 1957 Ventures at ecosystem events and industry conferences.
