Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Associate for Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in optimizing our supply chain and operational processes while supporting the alignment of sales forecasts, production plans, and inventory management. This position requires a keen analytical mind, strong leadership qualities, and an ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency. As a Senior Associate, you will be involved in strategic decision-making and contribute to the broader business goals by ensuring alignment between various departments, enhancing efficiency, and driving overall company performance. This role is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in sales and operations planning in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, production, and logistics teams to ensure alignment of goals.
- Analyze and forecast sales trends to aid in inventory management decisions.
- Lead monthly S&OP meetings to review overall performance and address challenges.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics to help guide strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of materials and products.
- Optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs and enhance delivery timelines.
- Resolve conflicts between capacity constraints and demand fluctuations effectively.
- Prepare detailed reports on sales, inventory, and operations planning for stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and problem-solving processes across various business units.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement initiatives within the S&OP framework.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior team members in the S&OP process.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in sales & operations planning or similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in utilizing data to drive decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficient in S&OP software and tools, along with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lead and facilitate meetings and workshops with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
