Senior Atlassian Solution Engineer, Architect Deloitte

The continued success of our Atlassian practice means that we are looking to grow further by recruiting specialists with technical experience in designing, building, deploying, and managing Atlassian and agile solutions for work management, software product development, programme management and service management.
The following are core elements of this role. There will be opportunities for coaching and training for strong candidates who do not have experience in all these areas:
Client delivery
As a member of the ACE team, you will be involved in the end-to-end design and implementation of the solutions that business and technology teams use to manage work, products and programmes:
Ongoing client delivery
• Architecting Jira and Confluence-based tools to support projects delivering digital change
• Working with teams and projects to understand their requirements, scope fit-for-purpose solutions based on good delivery and project/programme management practices
• Proposing custom workflows, fields, permission schemes, etc.
• Working with the ACE Lead to develop and manage deployment plans for the Jira implementation, tracking progress and escalating issues
• Leading a team to implement solutions for multiple clients, including configuration, integration, reporting and training
• Designing, developing and implementing project, programme or portfolio management tools using Jira/Confluence;
Continuous innovation
• Developing innovative reporting and solutions such as agile metrics for different use cases and audiences (leadership, business users, managers, development teams)
• Assessing new tools, plugins and integrations for Jira and Confluence, providing guidance to junior team members to develop new capabilities around selected tools
• Providing guidance and recommendations to teams to embed agile ways of working throughout their delivery and management processes

Qualifications or Knowledge Required
To thrive in this role, you will need:
• Deep technical experience in setting up and administering Atlassian tooling, specifically Jira and Confluence
• Experience of managing software delivery projects and programmes
• To be proficient at analysing data to develop customisable, filterable, high-impact reports in Jira and Confluence
• 7+ years in a project management, software development or technology role
• Experience administering Jira and/or Confluence; or hands-on experience managing agile delivery using Jira
• Experience designing and implementing workflow management tools for project management, software development or technology
