Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Conducts assigned audit engagements successfully from beginning to end.
Finalize the scope of each assignment with audit manager based on business understanding and risks identified.
Applies risk and control concepts to scenarios encountered and identifies any potential issues.
Develops audit programs and testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives.
Manages and directs daily activities of more junior auditors assigned to assist the Senior Auditor during an engagement.
Obtains and reviews evidence ensuring audit conclusions are well-documented.
Ensures that complete understanding of the process and circumstances (operation and financial) is obtained and documented.
Prepares detailed audits reports/presentations.
Communicates assigned tasks to engagement team in a manner that is clear and concise ensuring high quality, accurate, and efficient results
Organizes personal effort along with those of junior auditors to be risk-based, productive, and efficient at all times
Ensures adequate focus on personal professional growth relevant to taking on more challenging assignments, in line with standard audit career progression proactively seeks relevant Education and training opportunities
Ensures adherence at all times to all applicable departmental and professional standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Qualification
University Graduate in accounting, finance or related field.
Preferred but not required: Certified from The IIA
Minimum Experience
At least 4 years audit experience with Big4 or
At least 6 years of audit experience in industry.
Other Requirement
Fluency in English is a must; writing and oral.
Familiar with communication Skills in Arabic and English (preferred); reading, writing and oral.
Proven ability to identifying problems and analyze the real root cause behind findings.
