Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement advanced automation and control systems for industrial facilities.
Lead the programming, configuration, and troubleshooting of PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver tailored automation solutions that meet client requirements.
Conduct site assessments, system integration, and commissioning of automation projects.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients during installation, testing, and maintenance phases.
Develop detailed project documentation, including functional specifications, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices in all automation projects.
Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on automation technologies and project execution.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and recommend innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Liaise with vendors and suppliers to source automation hardware and software components.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.
5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation engineering.
Proven expertise in PLC programming (preferably Rockwell Automation, Siemens, or Schneider Electric).
Strong knowledge of HMI and SCADA systems design and implementation.
Experience with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to lead automation projects from concept to completion.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team collaboration.
Ability to work onsite at client facilities as required.
Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
