Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for software applications, ensuring quality and performance reliability.

  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and clarify testing expectations.
  • Conduct analysis on test results, identifying areas for improvement and recommending optimal solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Execute automated tests and document outcomes, ensuring transparency and traceability in all testing processes.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to enhance testing practices.
  • Continuously improve testing frameworks and enhance existing automated test scripts for better efficiency and coverage.
  • Coordinate with the development team to resolve issues related to test failures and enhance product quality.
  • Stay current with the latest testing tools, trends, and techniques to foster innovation in the automation testing process.
  • Version control systems, such as Git.
  • CI/CD tools and practices is a plus.
  • ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is preferred.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation testing.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools, like Selenium, testNG, or Cypress.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing and automation.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies, especially Agile and Scrum.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and an ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
