Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Take ownership of projects from proposal to handover, lead the project team, and manage its workload.
Prepare and check detailed engineering designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technicians and take responsibility for their work.
Act as the primary engineering contact for clients and suppliers, attend progress meetings, and respond to queries.
Ensure all work is technically sound, meets quality and cost criteria, and adheres to relevant health and safety regulations.
Address new technical problems and provide technically sound solutions.
- Bachelor s degree in civil engineering.
- At least 10 years bridge engineering experience.
- A strong understanding of bridge engineering principles.
- Experience with various bridge types including precast concrete girders, segmental bridges, and other complex bridges.
- Rail Projects experience is preferred.
- Familiar with international codes and standards (AASHTO - Euro code - ECP-SHC).
- Familiar with bridges analysis and design software (CSI Bridge - Sofistik - Midas -Adsec - CSI Column - SP Column).
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Middle East Experience Mandatory.
Desired Candidate Profile
The Ideal Candidate will have at least 10 years bridge engineering experience with strong understanding of bridge engineering principles for various bridge types including precast concrete girders, segmental bridges, and other complex bridges.
