We are looking for a Senior Business Consultant to join our EMEA Consulting Services team which strives for consulting excellency, efficiency in configuration and standardization, knowledge sharing and collaboration across divisions and market units.
You will be part of the IBOR Service Line: We provide SimCorp Dimension clients with an Investment Book of Record (IBOR) to enable investment decision based on accurate consolidated positions and valuations in real-time and thereby help them to grow their business. The IBOR team is responsible for implementation of the IBOR foundation, financial instruments and the following solutions in SimCorp Dimension : Reconciliation, Settlement, Corporate Actions, Cash & Securities and Collateral Management.
As part of your induction you will be hands-on in our software system and attend the three-weeks SimCorp Dimension Academy.
What you will be responsible for
- Responsibility for major parts of SimCorp Dimension implementation projects: You know the customers requirements and processes as well as the lifecycle processes of financial instruments at banks, asset managers and/or insurers and outline solutions for optimal use of SimCorp Dimension
- Close cooperation with the project manager and key role in leading projects to success
- Key contact for our customers for all questions in connection with SimCorp Dimension
- Instruct and mentor less experienced colleagues on the job
- Prepare requirement specifications for enhancements to our product management
- Identify opportunities to offer tailored services beyond the project scope to our customers in your role as a trusted advisor
- Contribute to improving best practices for implementation processes and promote topics across projects
- Actively participate in know how exchange with colleagues on an international level

- Degree in economics/finance, mathematics/computer science or similar qualification
- Experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant from banks, asset managers, insurers or consulting firms in the back office or in valuation
- Excellent knowhow in trade processing and/or valuation of financial instruments from the banking, asset management and/or insurance environment
- Ideally you have SimCorp Dimension experience or you are familiar with implementing financial software
- Independent and analytical way of working
- Team spirit and a talent to share your knowledge
- Strong communication and consulting skills and a high degree of commercial awareness, customer orientation and quality consciousness
- Fluency in English
- Willingness to travel
