Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Regional Investment & Business Development
Support the Group’s investment expansion initiatives across the MENA region in line with the Group’s overall development strategy. Conduct forward-looking investment planning, market analysis, and execution work by leveraging the Group’s diversified business portfolio and the region’s industrial development priorities.
Assist in advancing key opportunities from early-stage identification to substantive cooperation or investment execution, and follow up on key post-investment milestones. Focus areas include, but are not limited to, advanced manufacturing, small modular reactors, data center infrastructure, and energy-related projects.
Market Intelligence & Stakeholder Engagement
Track energy, industrial and infrastructure development plans across the MENA region to identify regional industrial opportunities and new business directions.
Build and maintain information channels covering government resources, local business networks, and strategic industry partners. Assist in communications with relevant government authorities and industrial counterparties, prepare investment target information, and actively facilitate engagement between key external stakeholders and internal decision-makers.
Investment Opportunity Assessment & Transaction Execution
Be responsible for investment assessment of regional projects. Lead or participate in industry research, commercial feasibility analysis, internal IC deck preparation, and key risk identification.
Lead the development and maintenance of project financial models, conduct valuation analysis and return assessments, and prepare internal and external investment teasers. Support transaction structuring and the negotiation and implementation of key commercial terms, including but not limited to SPA, SHA and other transaction documents.
Project Financing Support
Support the implementation of project financing for the Group’s key regional projects. Participate in building financing structures and assist in financing term negotiations.
Follow up on the negotiation of core financing documents, including facility agreements and related documentation. Maintain project finance models, support the satisfaction of conditions precedent, and assist in financial close process. Support post-financing management by monitoring key financial covenants and compliance requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
Master’s degree or above from a recognized university, preferably in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related majors.
Up to 5 years of work experience. Candidates with solid foundations in financial analysis, valuation and financial modeling are preferred. Prior experience in investment banking, PE/VC, consulting, multinational corporations or related fields is a plus.
Familiarity with cooperation and negotiation processes involving governments, large corporates and strategic partners.
Strong external communication, stakeholder management and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
Highly proactive, results-oriented and resilient, with strong project execution capabilities and the ability to manage multiple workstreams across time zones.
Fluency in English. Willingness to be based in the UAE.
