Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and fragrance brands to acquire quality perfume products while meeting performance, margin, and assortment objectives.
• Range Management: Develop and execute buying strategies for the perfume category, analyzing trends, customer preferences, and market insights to ensure an outstanding product portfolio.
• Supplier Relationship Development: Build and maintain effective partnerships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, fostering collaboration, and ensuring timely, cost-effective product delivery.
• Contract and Price Negotiations: Secure the most competitive prices, manage contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and ethical supply chain standards.
• Inventory Optimization: Monitor stock levels, sales trends, and forecast demand to optimize inventory, minimize excess, and reduce risk of stockouts.
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Logistics, Marketing, and Finance teams to align strategies, plan promotions, and deliver category growth.
• Market Analysis: Stay updated on fragrance industry trends, emerging brands, and product innovations to continually enhance the curated perfume assortment.
• Data-Driven Management: Track KPIs such as sales, profit, and inventory turnover, making data-backed recommendations for improvements and new opportunities.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Retail Management, or a related field. Advanced education is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years' progressive experience in buying, category management, or procurement within perfumes, cosmetics, or beauty retail sectors.
• Proven negotiation, contract management, and supplier development skills specific to the fragrance or beauty industry.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze complex data, trends, and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills across diverse backgrounds and teams.
• Proficient in using procurement platforms, retail systems, and advanced Excel or category analytics tools.
• Highly organized, resourceful, and results-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Commitment to ethical sourcing, diversity, and inclusion in supplier partnerships and team engagement.
