Senior CAD Analyst

• Interpreting project briefs and communicate with clients, engineers to ensure all blueprints and technical drawing are completed to specifications.
  
• Producing drawing and sketches; using CAD software to prepare detailed drawings, plans and blueprints.
  
• Assist with daily support for surveyors during field work.
  
• Gather information and determine limitations and feasibility of designs.
  
• Updating software, drawings, and other documents.
  
• Remaining professional when feedback is delivered and implementing any changes to drafts as soon as possible.
  
• Ensuring adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations at local, national, and international levels
  
• Ensuring drawings are compliant with regulations and engineering principles.
  
• Communicating potential design issues to engineers.
  
• Conducting research when required.
  

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Advanced Diploma degree or bachelor s degree in GIS, civil engineering, or any in a related field.
  

Minimum Experience:

• 5 years of experience in current CAD Operations and software.
  

Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills:

• Courses in ACAD civil 3D software.
  
• Practical experience with CAD software.
  
• Knowledge of engineering and construction.
  
• A completed apprenticeship would be advantageous.
  
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  
• Superb work ethic and ability to accept feedback.
  
• Knowledge of GIS software is an asset.
  
• Knowledge of survey coordinate systems is an asset.
  
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
