Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

· Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, general ledger, and reconciliations.

· Transaction Management: Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable (AP) & accounts receivable (AR).

· Compliance: Ensure adherence to IFRS, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax regulations, assisting with filings.

· Auditing: Coordinate and support internal and external audits.

· Analysis: Analyze financial data, summarize financial status, and provide insights for decision-making.

· Fixed Assets: Manage and reconcile fixed assets register.

· Process Improvement: Identify errors and suggest efficiency improvements in accounting processes.

· Team Leadership (Optional): Supervise junior accountants and manage workflows.

Desired Candidate Profile

· Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance and Masters in Accounting/Finance; CA/CPA/CMA often preferred.

· Experience: Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience, with managerial/supervisory experience.

· Skills: Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, detail-oriented, proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, ERPs) and MS Excel, strategic thinking, and excellent communication.
