Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

- Reviewing inventory files and abstracts submitted by contractors
- Reviewing updating projects BOQs and calculating quantities.
- Reviewing the shop drawing log before sending the shop drawing to the consultant for approvals.
- Study requests for information (RFIs) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical matters that may arise during construction.
- Responsible for reviewing structure & MEP drawings and technical coordination between all disciplines.
- Review sub-contractors shop drawings as well as outsourced shop drawings and coordinate their approval process with the project consultant.
- Reviewing the Surveying Engineer to provide him all the information about land coordinates and any site measurement required.
- Participate in solving/reporting any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise during construction to the Technical Office Manager for discussion and proper solution.
- Prepare as-built drawings at the end of the project and hand over to the project consultant
- Attend meetings with consultants, contractors, suppliers as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Experience: From 5 years experience to 10 years.
- Education: Bachelor s degree in civil or architecture, or related field.
- Must have worked within a technical office / preferred with consultant and experienced in Infrastructure engineering.
- Extensive knowledge of preparing BOQs (in both Arabic & English languages) including quantity survey.
- Computer proficiency: AutoCAD, Word and Excel are a must. REVIT is an asset.
