Position Overview
The Senior Civil Engineer Night Shift role is a critical position within the PMCM team supporting large-scale infrastructure and construction projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for overseeing night shift construction operations, ensuring that works are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. The position requires strong leadership, sound technical judgment, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams during night-time operations.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee and monitor construction activities during the night shift to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards
Conduct regular site inspections to verify progress, workmanship, and adherence to approved construction methodologies
Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during night operations
Coordinate closely with contractors, subcontractors, and supervision teams to resolve site issues promptly
Provide daily night shift progress updates and reports to the Project Manager and PMCM leadership
Review and approve works completed during the night shift, ensuring alignment with project requirements
Monitor material usage and workmanship quality to ensure compliance with approved standards
Identify potential construction, safety, or operational risks and implement mitigation measures
Provide technical guidance and support to site teams as required
Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to support construction activities
Address and resolve technical, coordination, or operational challenges encountered during night works
Support seamless handover between day and night shift teams to maintain construction continuity

Ideal Profile
Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in construction supervision roles
At least 3 years of experience working within a PMCM or consultancy environment
Previous experience in night shift construction operations is preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is an advantage
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, specifications, and quality standards
Proficiency in construction management software and reporting tools
Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night operations

Key Requirements
Availability to work night shifts on a rotational or permanent basis
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
Familiarity with local construction codes, standards, and regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia
