Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage all contractual correspondences including preparation, review, and submission of letters, notices, and formal communications to Clients, Consultants, and Subcontractors.
Ensure that all contractual notices (delay notices, claims notices, variation notices, etc.) are issued within the time limits stipulated under the Contract.
Identify contractual risks, obligations, and entitlements, and advise project teams accordingly to protect the Company’s rights.
Lead the preparation and submission of contractual claims including:
Extension of Time (EOT)
Prolongation Cost
Variations
Disruption and additional cost claims
Review Contract Documents and project records to identify claim opportunities and contractual advantages.
Maintain a comprehensive register for all contractual correspondences, notices, and claims across projects.
Coordinate with planning teams to support claims with proper delay analysis (TIA, critical path analysis).
Coordinate with commercial and finance teams for proper evaluation and substantiation of cost impacts.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Experience:
Minimum 8+ years of experience in construction industry, with strong focus on contractual correspondences and claims management
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of FIDIC 1999 Red Book and construction contracts
Experience in claims preparation and contractual communication
