Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage all contractual correspondences including preparation, review, and submission of letters, notices, and formal communications to Clients, Consultants, and Subcontractors.

  • Ensure that all contractual notices (delay notices, claims notices, variation notices, etc.) are issued within the time limits stipulated under the Contract.

  • Identify contractual risks, obligations, and entitlements, and advise project teams accordingly to protect the Company’s rights.

  • Lead the preparation and submission of contractual claims including:

    • Extension of Time (EOT)

    • Prolongation Cost

    • Variations

    • Disruption and additional cost claims

  • Review Contract Documents and project records to identify claim opportunities and contractual advantages.

  • Maintain a comprehensive register for all contractual correspondences, notices, and claims across projects.

  • Coordinate with planning teams to support claims with proper delay analysis (TIA, critical path analysis).

  • Coordinate with commercial and finance teams for proper evaluation and substantiation of cost impacts.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Experience:

Minimum 8+ years of experience in construction industry, with strong focus on contractual correspondences and claims management

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC 1999 Red Book and construction contracts

  • Experience in claims preparation and contractual communication
