Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the preservation activities, ensuring equipment integrity throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-commissioning to handover.
- Develop and implement comprehensive preservation strategies and plans, including inspection and maintenance schedules tailored to specific equipment types and environmental conditions.
- Oversee the execution of preservation activities, including the application of protective coatings, desiccant management, and equipment rotation, ensuring adherence to established procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify the effectiveness of preservation measures and identify any deviations or deficiencies.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to integrate preservation requirements into project execution plans and schedules.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- Demonstrates a minimum of 8 years of experience in commissioning and/or preservation within the oil and gas, petrochemical, or power generation industries.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of preservation techniques for various equipment types, including rotating equipment, static equipment, and instrumentation.
- Proficient in the use of preservation-related software and tools, such as CMMS and inspection management systems.
- Demonstrates excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex preservation challenges.
