Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and manage the overall construction activities for major infrastructure works (roads, bridges, utilities, drainage, tunnels, etc.).

Oversee contractors' performance to ensure compliance with project specifications, design intent, safety, and quality standards.

Coordinate with design, planning, HSE, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution of construction phases.

Manage project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of key milestones.

Review and approve construction method statements, ITPs, and risk assessments.

Ensure compliance with local authority requirements and client specifications.

Conduct regular site inspections and chair weekly progress and coordination meetings.

Support in claim evaluations, change management, and risk mitigation activities.

Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and construction staff.

Prepare and present regular reports to the Project Director and Client.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 15-20 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in the Middle East.

Proven experience in PMC roles on large-scale infrastructure projects.

Strong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies, safety standards, and QA/QC procedures.

Strong communication and reporting skills in English.

Membership in a recognized professional body (e.g., PMI, ICE, PMP) is an advantage.
