Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Protecting the organization's digital assets through the implementation of cybersecurity policies, conducting risk assessments, and managing defense systems to counter information security threats. The department works to build cybersecurity capabilities, monitor networks, and prevent unauthorized access and data breaches. Through collaboration with other organizational units, the department raises awareness of information security and effectively addresses cyber threats. Additionally, the department oversees supply and maintenance contracts, ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets, and continuously improves defense processes through periodic assessments and system upgrades .

Performing responsibilities in accordance with academic qualifications, job specializations, and productivity expectations.
Ensuring continuous awareness and compliance with all policies, procedures, and directives, as well as the organization's code of conduct.
Promoting teamwork, cooperation, and dedication in performing and participating in all tasks.
Ensuring the security, confidentiality, and proper classification of data in accordance with the organization's policies.
Ensuring that all relevant files, records, and documents are preserved and archived in accordance with the organization's standards.
Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards, and promoting a safe and healthy work environment in line with the organization's policies and regulatory requirements.
Supporting any changes in the organizational structure, and ensuring the optimal use of resources and their alignment with the organization's goals.
Supporting change management initiatives in line with organizational standards.
Ensuring that outputs are prepared on time and accurately, meeting requirements and quality standards.
Performing tasks and responsibilities independently unless approval is obtained or direction is given to delegate the task to other employees in case of inability to perform the tasks and responsibilities.
Performing additional tasks and activities assigned by leadership.
Operational responsibilities
Preparing annual strategic and operational work plans for management, including key performance indicators, projects, initiatives, activities, and risk registers.
Contributing to the preparation, review and updating of regulations and policies related to the organizational unit, in coordination with the relevant departments.
Preparing the financial budget and procurement plans for the department, and monitoring expenditures in coordination with the relevant departments, to ensure that they meet the needs of the various units and contribute to achieving the agency’s goals and strategy.
Monitoring the implementation of strategic and operational projects in accordance with approved work plans, in cooperation with the relevant organizational units.
Monitoring the implementation of service contracts related to the tasks, responsibilities, and scope of work of the department.
Performing any other tasks and activities assigned by the leadership.
Technical competencies : The knowledge, skills, and abilities specific to the job required to perform specialized tasks or functions effectively within a particular role or field.
Reviewing, developing and implementing policies and procedures : Developing, reviewing and implementing policies and procedures in line with the organization’s objectives, legal requirements and best practices in the department’s area of expertise .
Strategic planning and performance management : Developing strategic and operational plans, identifying key performance indicators, monitoring implementation, and evaluating results to ensure alignment with the organization's objectives and optimal use of resources .
Coordination and supervision between different departments : Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to align the department’s projects, initiatives and processes with the organization’s broader strategies, ensuring consistency, cooperation and timely delivery of results .
Budgeting, procurement and resource utilization optimization : Preparing departmental budgets and procurement plans, allocating and managing resources to support departmental operations and ensure that strategic priorities are achieved cost-effectively .
Core competencies : The basic personal attributes and work ethic characteristics that shape how individuals handle their responsibilities and contribute to the overall workplace culture.
