Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant - DevOps/Environment Management Lead to oversee and optimise our development and production environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in DevOps practices and environment management, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor DevOps teams in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
Oversee the provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of development and production environments.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline processes and improve productivity.
Implement automation tools and frameworks to enhance deployment and monitoring.
Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve environment-related issues promptly.
Continuously improve environment management practices and tools.
Track and report on environment performance metrics.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Extensive hands-on experience in DevOps and environment management.
Proven experience in leading DevOps teams and projects.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, OCI, Google Cloud).
Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
Exceptional communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Dynatrace and AppDynamics).
Knowledge of observability, monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack).
Familiarity with security best practices in DevOps.
Experience in coaching and mentoring DevOps teams.
