Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contract terms, ensuring clarity and compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary documentation and input for contract creation and modifications.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to mitigate risks.
- Maintain a comprehensive contract management system to track deadlines, renewals, and amendments efficiently.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries, facilitating clear communication between stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments for new contracts and existing agreements, identifying potential issues before they arise.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on contract policies and procedures, fostering a culture of compliance.
- Prepare reports on contract status, performance metrics, and compliance issues for senior management review.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure organizational contracts remain competitive and compliant.
- Support the procurement process by collaborating with vendors and suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering, Business Administration, Law, or related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in contract administration or legal support within a corporate environment.
- Proven track record of negotiating and managing complex contracts, particularly in the construction and contracting field and on mega projects.
- Professional certification such as Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) is highly desirable.
- Bilingual candidates fluent in Arabic and English are preferred to facilitate international negotiations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret legal language and translate it into actionable contract terms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective stakeholder management and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel for data analysis.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills, enabling the management of multiple contracts simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
