Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contract terms, ensuring clarity and compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary documentation and input for contract creation and modifications.
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to mitigate risks.
  • Maintain a comprehensive contract management system to track deadlines, renewals, and amendments efficiently.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries, facilitating clear communication between stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments for new contracts and existing agreements, identifying potential issues before they arise.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on contract policies and procedures, fostering a culture of compliance.
  • Prepare reports on contract status, performance metrics, and compliance issues for senior management review.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure organizational contracts remain competitive and compliant.
  • Support the procurement process by collaborating with vendors and suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering, Business Administration, Law, or related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in contract administration or legal support within a corporate environment.
  • Proven track record of negotiating and managing complex contracts, particularly in the construction and contracting field and on mega projects.
  • Professional certification such as Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) is highly desirable.
  • Bilingual candidates fluent in Arabic and English are preferred to facilitate international negotiations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret legal language and translate it into actionable contract terms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective stakeholder management and conflict resolution.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel for data analysis.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills, enabling the management of multiple contracts simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
